Foster Quietly Confident for 2012 BTCC season

Farnborough’s Nick Foster (now based in Odiham) is quietly confident ahead of the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car championship, after taking part in the BTCC Media Day at Silverstone earlier this week.
Foster is driving a BMW 320Si which for 2012 is powered by a Neil Brown prepared BMW turbo engine, for WSR with title sponsor Ebay Motors with additional sponsorship from Contour Electronics.
The 2012 season consists of 30 races over 10 race weekends with the opening race weekend at Brands Hatch on 31 March/01 April 2012.
Over the off season Foster has been busy with his Electronics business (Contour Electronics) along with supporting his wife Claire’s Equestrian events and his sons karting.
As Foster commented “I will get in the car today for my first taste of the turbo powered BMW, but from feedback from my team mates it is all looking good. The chassis was good last year and now with the turbo we will get more torque and speed down the straights. I am looking to regularly qualify in the top 10 as I already had good race pace last year but needed to qualify higher up the grid.
With the team now running 3 cars, with Tom Onslow-Cole joining the team and Nick Foster staying for a second year, there is high expectations around the paddock that team will be challenging for both the driver and teams championship this season.
There is less than 2 weeks to go before the lights go green for the first race of the season with 24 cars on the grid for the first weekend (which is two more than last year).
